Our Commitments

Less excess. More intention.

We believe that creating beautiful clothing comes with a responsibility to consider what goes into it, who makes it, and how long it remains part of our lives.

At Yoon, responsibility is not a destination we claim to have reached. It is a practice shaped by deliberate choices, honest reflection, and a willingness to do better.

From the materials we select to the care we offer beyond purchase, we are building a more considered approach to fashion, one decision at a time.

01Materials

Chosen with care. Backed by intention.

Our commitment begins with the materials we choose. For The Drape Edit, we selected TENCEL™ Modal for its exceptional softness, fluid drape, and gentle feel against the skin — qualities we particularly value for dressing in the tropics.

We believe material responsibility begins with understanding what we use. Through documented sourcing and deliberate material selection, we aim to make more informed choices about the garments we create.

Because what touches your skin deserves thoughtful consideration.

02The hands behind Yoon

Made by people, not just processes.

Every Yoon garment passes through the hands of people whose skill and attention give form to our designs.

We work with small-scale production partners in Central Java, approaching the making process as a collaboration built on communication, care, and mutual respect.

Our approach favours considered production decisions over unnecessary excess, with the intention of creating pieces that are thoughtfully made and valued beyond a single season.

We believe the people behind our garments deserve to be recognised as an essential part of their story.

03Garment longevity

Our care doesn't end at purchase.

We believe a garment's story should continue long after its first wear.

Through Yoon Studio, our dedicated garment care service, we extend our commitment beyond the moment of purchase. From thoughtful fit adjustments to Lifetime Repair and Remake Requests, we help you care for, maintain, and reimagine the pieces you love.

Because making clothing with intention also means taking responsibility for what happens after it leaves our hands.

04Our continuing journey

Progress, not perfection.

We recognise that responsible fashion requires more than thoughtful intentions.

As Yoon grows, we hope to deepen our understanding of our materials, improve transparency across our production processes, and explore new ways to keep textiles in use for longer.

Our longer-term ambitions include garment collection, creative reuse, and collaborations that give existing materials renewed purpose. These are commitments we are working towards, not achievements we claim to have completed.

We believe progress begins with being honest about where we are today.
